Nathan originally studied biology in his undergraduate years but quickly became interested in Data Science through his statistical work at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. During this time, he sought to elucidate the mechanisms behind rare neurodegenerative diseases and was constantly curious about ways in which he could model the data to gain further insights. This curiosity led him to pursuing a master’s degree in Data Science at Duke University.
While at Duke, Nathan was able to combine his data science skills with his passion for healthcare as he gained experience working with sensor data in the emerging field of Human Activity Recognition.
Nathan joined FMC Data Solutions in May 2021 and is now leveraging his talents to find insights and develop data solutions that improve patient outcomes.
